ICAI Sends Legal Notice to Footwear Company for Using Logo Without Permission

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has sent a legal notice to a footwear company for using its logo on shoes without permission. The ICAI is demanding Rs 1 crore in compensation from the company.

In the legal notice, the ICAI has alleged that the footwear company has used its logo on shoes without obtaining the necessary authorization from the institute. The ICAI has further stated that the use of its logo by the footwear company has damaged the institute's reputation and goodwill.

The ICAI has demanded that the footwear company immediately stop using its logo and pay compensation of Rs 1 crore. The institute has also warned that it will take legal action against the footwear company if it fails to comply with its demands.

The footwear company has not yet responded to the legal notice.
